My Mission: Dance Without The Stress
I started dancing later in life, meaning I know exactly what it's like to step onto the floor with uncertainties. Like many who are new to dance, I had my share of questions about rhythm and partner connection, especially when navigating traditional, high-pressure environments.
But when I experienced the warmth of a welcoming social dance floor, everything clicked. I realized partner dancing isn't about rigid rules, competitive postures, or performing for judges. It is about connection, presence, and sharing a joyful moment of musicality with another human.
Teaching Philosophy
My classes are deliberately designed to be different:
- 1. Judgment-Free, Cozy VibeI choose cozy, low-pressure venues. The atmosphere is welcoming, the environment is friendly, and the focus is on fun rather than flawless execution.
- 2. Built for Singles & CouplesYou do not need to bring a partner. We rotate partners frequently in class, which helps build connection, makes learning faster, and is the best way to meet others.
- 3. Actionable ProgressionI break complex combinations down into simple footwork blocks and core leading/following indicators. If you can walk, you can dance.
Today, I teach Salsa, Bachata, and classical Ballroom at locations across the city. Whether you want to gain confidence for social dance nights, find a unique date-night activity with your partner, or prepare for your wedding, I would be honored to guide your steps.
“Connection is the true language of dance. The steps are just letters in the word.”
